The room at Okonjima Plains Camp was absolutely amazing! I loved waking up to the breathtaking views of the plains right from my bed. It felt like I was right in the heart of nature, and it made me feel so calm and at peace. Plus, having a seating area and terrace in some units was an added bonus, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the surroundings.
Honestly, there wasn't much I didn't like about the room. If I had to pick one thing, I would say that the seating area could have been a bit more cozy.

I had the most incredible experience at Okonjima Plains Camp. The lodge was spacious and comfortable, with a stunning view of the bush from my window. I could even spot different animals right outside my room, including antelopes, warthogs, and giraffes. The room itself was stylish and clean, and I loved the small sitting area outside. And let me tell you about the food - it was excellent! The three-course dinner menu offered delicious options, like Oryx and Eland steaks. The portions were just right, not too big.

The staff was extremely friendly and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The location was stunning, with breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. The Bush Chalets were spacious and beautifully decorated, providing us with a comfortable and private stay. The highlight of our experience was the leopard tracking activity, where our guide, John M., led us to encounter leopards up-close while watching the sunset. It was truly extraordinary. The food was divine, and we enjoyed a fine selection of wines. We can't wait to come back for a longer stay!
My children wanted more activities specifically tailored for families with children.

The sleeping accommodation was fantastic! the bungalow was beautifully decorated and had a huge glass wall that allowed us to watch wildlife passing by. We loved waking up early and enjoying our coffee while observing the animals. the main building was also impressive, with its modern and interesting design. the dining area had a great view of the plains and the food was faultless.
The restaurant was full of flies, which was a minor inconvenience during evening supper. although the hotel was a decent stopover on the way to other destinations, it did not offer the full safari and wildlife experience that could be found in other national parks in Namibia, such as Etosha.

The game reserve surrounding the camp allowed us to go on both morning and afternoon safaris, where we were lucky enough to spot a leopard and cheetahs. the superior view room we stayed in was beautiful, but with the exciting safaris, we didn't have much time to enjoy it. the cuisine at the camp was excellent, especially the breakfast. the architecture and decorations throughout the camp were skillfully done and added to the overall beauty of the place. the service provided by the staff, including Susan, Beatrice, and Josephine, was outstanding. Our tours with guide Gideon were outstanding as well, where we got to see the leopard Terra and three cheetahs. we highly recommend Okonjima Plains Camp Villa for a couple of days' stay. Cons: Can't fault anything about it! 😊.

The value for money at Okonjima Plains Camp was excellent. We got a lot for what we paid and the room was spacious and had a great view of the park. The location was perfect as we were staying in a game reserve, which was a privilege. The staff treated us very well and most of them were lovely.
The breakfast experience could have been improved with a wider variety of options.

The place is stunning and the main structure is amazing. Standard rooms are super comfortable and big, with a private patio overlooking the reserve. The afternoon tour has a 100% chance to spot a leopard with their precise tracking technology. The cabins have fantastic views over a waterhole, like having your own live safari TV channel. The breakfast is fantastic, and the guide provided a great sundowner safari with G&Ts. The food is very good quality, and the staff were lovely.
Felt very cared for, no complaints whatsoever.

Spent a fantastic Christmas at this lodge. The food was absolutely amazing, definitely the best we had during our trip to Namibia. The service was outstanding, with the staff going above and beyond to make our stay memorable. The guided tours were exceptional, especially the leopard and cheetah tracking. We were lucky enough to see a leopard and her cub, which was a highlight of our trip. The lodge also had a beautiful view of the surrounding vistas, making it a perfect location to relax and enjoy the scenery.
Although the lodge itself was amazing, we did find that some of the walking trails in the fenced areas of the reserve were not very well maintained. It would have been nice to have clearer paths and signage for those who wanted to explore on foot.

The twin/double room at Okonjima Plains Camp is simply breathtaking. The views of the plains are absolutely stunning, creating a tranquil and serene atmosphere. I felt like I was in my own little piece of paradise, surrounded by nature's beauty. The room also had a cozy seating area and a lovely terrace, perfect for enjoying the peaceful surroundings.
Personally, I would have liked a bit more variety in terms of amenities in the room. But hey, it's just my opinion and others might still find enjoyment in it.
